SR401 is a unique carbon black with structure
and surface area properties that combine and improve
upon performance of reinforcing and semi- reinforcing
grades. Essentially it is a 400 series gap black
that bridges the divide between N330 and N550
opening up new compounding possibilities. Now
you can use a black that offers excellent hysteresis,
surface finish, and die swell while improving
abrasion resistance, physical properties, and
dampening properties. SR401 can help reduce compound
costs, improve processablity performance, and
improve product performance. SR401 can be used
in calendered, extruded, and molded processes.
