Sid Richardson partners with the community
The Bass family have
been great patrons of Fort Worth. They have restored much of the downtown
area and have enhanced the arts by building the Bass Performing Arts Hall.
They are also a patron of one of the largest collections of western art
housed at the Sid Richardson Museum of Western Art. With the help of the
Bass family Fort Worth has returned to its old west glory.
In Big Spring Texas, we sponsor a little league
team, donate to the FHA and to a "Relay
for Life, Men in Black Team" for cancer
research. We also participate in "Keep
Big Spring Beautiful." We call ourselves
"Roadrunners/Trash Talkers" when
we pick up trash on the three mile expanse
of highway where the plant is located. We
have also helped rebuild playgrounds that
were destroyed by vandals. Community is something
we take very seriously in Texas.
In Borger Texas, we donate to the local little
league program, the Borger fire department
coloring book program, the Rainbow Room foster
home and the school graduation programs in
the surrounding towns.
